Formed in 2021, Squared Homes is led by Director Jon, who brings an extensive background in engineering and construction. Jon began his career in the building industry at just 16, labouring across all trades before leaving for university at 19. He went on to achieve a 2:1 degree in Construction Engineering and Project Management from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle.

Following university, Jon joined a highly successful property development company, where he spent three years and became the youngest-ever Senior Project Manager. Driven by a passion for quality construction and hands-on leadership, he founded Squared Homes—and hasn’t looked back since. To date, the company has successfully completed over 100 projects.

Over the past five years, we’ve worked closely with a range of local pubs and barbers, including The Robin Hood Pub, The Great Northern Pub, The Victoria Pub, The Cross Keys Pub, the Oxford Arms Pub and multiple Menspire locations.

For the past three years, we’ve also had the privilege of acting as Principal Contractor for multiple construction phases at Manor Lodge School, Radlett. Most recently, this included a full refurbishment of their much-loved Grade II listed building, as well as the complete refurbishment of their school nursery in 2025.
